1. PURCHASE A SMALLER OUTFIT
Purchase an item of clothing you would like to fit. Place it in your bathroom and look at it each morning. Try it on at the end of each week. The need to fit into this item of clothing will keep you motivated.
2. EAT OFF A BLUE PLATE
It has been known that eating off a blue coloured plate makes you want to eat less. (Worth a try)
3. DON’T REPLACE MEALS
Although having a shake to replace a meal can be a great time saver and it may stop you from grabbing an unhealthy snack, it really is best to eat real food. Your body needs to go through the chewing process. If you rely on shakes regularly and then go back to eating food your body often then gains weight quicker. It’s ok to replace the odd meal, but not to often.
4. EAT SLOWLY
It may be best to eat with a teaspoon when trying to lose weight. Eating slowly gives your body time to settle and enjoy the food you are eating. This can make you feel fuller sooner.
4. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
When we are bored or at times we would normally snack but don’t really need to, we often think that we are hungry. This is a great time to sip on water. Sipping on water at these times can take away the urge to eat something our body does not need.
