1. SNACK SMARTLY
When feeling a little hungry between meals grab the correct foods to snack on. Celery or cucumber and seasoning or a home made soup. Other quick ideas can be a couple of grissini sticks or some mini melba toast
2. DON’T EAT INFRONT OF THE TV OR COMPUTER
When eating, it is best to concentrate on what you are eating and enjoy every bite. When eating whilst distracted, like in front of the TV or your computer, you often feel hungry after eating. This is because you were concentrating on your TV or computer and not tasting your food and enjoying it.
3. WEIGH YOUR SELF DAILY
This is a great way of learning about foods that work for you. Knowing what you ate the day before and what that food does for your weight. It also stops you from weighing yourself after a long period of not weighing yourself and finding that you have gained a large amount of weight. It is easier to keep control and maintain your weight when you gain a little rather than having gained a lot that is daunting.
4. GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP
Your body repairs itself at night. You wake up fresher and can enjoy your day more. It also stops those mid night munchies, when you are really just eating to keep yourself awake and not because you are hungry.
5. VISUALIZE YOURSELF SLIM
Imagine yourself slim, imagine how you would feel, what you would look like. Imagine how you would look in slimmer clothes and how more mobile you would be. Imagine the extra energy you would have. This we really motivate you.
